Current debates about migration often focus on the divide between those with and those without a right to belong in the UK. It is easy to forget the hearts we have in common. MovingHearts invites you to participate in an art and research project that raises questions about belonging.

Each workshop takes 2.5 hours where you will get to share your own thinking and feelings about the right to belong while making clay human hearts. Each heart is unique, although artist Penny Ryan will take you through six basic steps to make a heart (no prior art experience is needed). Workshops will be held in venues across London. Children over 8 (with an accompanying adult) can participate. For more information and to discuss access needs, please email the artist directly: penny.ryan@iinet.net.au
