Welcome to Vauxhall One’s New Site!

The Vauxhall One website has undergone a transformation in 2020, making information on the BID, its projects and member businesses more accessible.

As well as detailing the BID’s work across its cleaner, greener, safer, better and destination project areas, the website also provides regular news articles, background on the history of Vauxhall and an interactive map of all businesses within the BID area.

The team has been busy during lockdown improving Vauxhall One’s digital presence, giving the website a facelift, getting more active on socials and reigniting the Vauxhall One Instagram account.

Vauxhall is Celebrating Christmas Online!

On 1 Dec, from 3 – 7pm, we will be celebrating Vauxhall online in a special festive broadcast with Riverside Radio.

Presenters Carpet Martin and Frank Loman will be joined by a whole host of special guests to kick off the festive season in our unique Vauxhall style. From small community groups, to arts venues, to climbing walls, more than 20 Vauxhall-based businesses will be talking live on air about their organisations and what makes Vauxhall such a special and unique place to call home.

Riverside Radio celebrates the rich and diverse community of South West London, covering Richmond, Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth and reaching over 1 million people on DAB Digital Radio.

Sponsor Classical Vauxhall 2021

Classical Vauxhall will return in 2021 with a series of lively classical concerts streamed for free online. For next year’s concerts and educational programme, Vauxhall One is inviting local businesses and developers to sponsor the event and promote Vauxhall’s burgeoning creative arts scene.

The inaugural event series took place in February 2020, with three sold-out, critically acclaimed performances at Brunswick House, the Garden Museum and St Peter’s Church. The concerts featured world-class musicians such as pianist Fiachra Garvey, guitarist Sean Shibe, flautist Adam Walker and quartet Quatuor Zaïde.

The Classical Vauxhall programme also included an education element delivered in partnership with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2020, 6 local primary schools joined the programme with over 200 pupils engaging in interactive classical performances. The team hope to increase the educational programme in 2021, offering a greater mix of online music workshops for local Lambeth children.
