Vauxhall One and Moniker Culture present Art in the Arches, an open call to all artists to bring colour and creativity to Vauxhall’s arches.
The project offers paid commissions to transform the appearance of arches in central Vauxhall, with both digital and hand-painted artwork.

Bernard Collier, CEO of Vauxhall One:
“Vauxhall has long been an inspiration for artists dating back to the 17th Century. Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens were painted by Canaletto and Whistler, and the area is attributed with opening the world’s first galleries. Today, Vauxhall is home to a number of superb contemporary galleries with Damien Hirst’s Newport Street Gallery, the Cabinet Gallery, Gasworks, Beaconsfield, and the Sunday Painter. Vauxhall One is eager to build on this legacy by sending a callout to artists to transform these arches into bold works of art. I am excited to see what people come up with.”
Tina Ziegler, Director of Moniker Culture:
“Moniker Culture is thrilled to work with Vauxhall One to bring some colour and creativity to the vibrant community of Vauxhall. The Love Different artistic Open Call is a great opportunity to engage with some of London’s leading new contemporary and urban artists and we are honoured to help bring the project to life.”
