The walks were very well subscribed with over 50 participants on both days, ranging from architects interested in the new buildings to local Londoners and those from further afield just curious about new developments and the changing face of London.
The groups gathered at the Tea House Theatre to hear about the historic Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and then walked up Vauxhall Walk to the new Damien Hirst Gallery on Newport Street.
Then they passed through the Garden Museum before walking down the Thames Path along Albert Embankment down to Battersea Power-station.
The guided architectural walk took in views of the new developments including the new American Embassy and the new horse sculptures on the Thames fore-shore.
Fortunately both days were wonderfully sunny and a lively discussion on the changing face of Vauxhall was had by all.
