Impact Brixton is thrilled to launch IB Create, a dynamic new programme of workshops and mentoring designed to empower and elevate creative businesses and creative entrepreneurs.
This free programme is designed to help creative businesses and entrepreneurs at any stage of their journey navigate the ever-changing creative economy. It is delivered in partnership with Lambeth Council, and funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
In a bumper event taking place on Thursday 30 January 2025, industry experts will deliver interactive workshops on digital marketing, sustainable business practices, financial resilience, the advancement of new technologies including AI, and how to register a business with HMRC and Companies House. Businesses will have the opportunity to network, building a strong and connected economy of creative enterprises in Lambeth.
What’s more, 15 businesses on the verge of scaling will be paired with expert industry mentors. This is a valuable opportunity for local entrepreneurs to gain one-on-one support from a leader in their sector, creating a clear action plan for how to grow and strengthen their business.
This programme is aimed at all creatives operating within advertising and marketing, architecture, crafts, design and designer fashion, film, TV, radio, and photography, IT, software, and computer services, museums and galleries, music, performing, and visual arts, and publishing.
Spaces are limited – apply before 20 December 2024.
There will also be a Zoom session on Wednesday 11 December 2024, including a short presentation on the programme and how to apply, and an opportunity for any creatives who are considering applying to the programme to ask questions.
