Coffee mornings at Gasworks are a chance to meet others living and working in the local area. Join them from 8:30am for coffee and pastries, followed by an introduction to Riar Rizaldi’s exhibition Mirage at 9:30am.
Mirage presents the first and second chapter of a ten-year project exploring how modern science and advanced technology effect the lives of humans and non-humans in Southeast Asia. Two films are presented as part of a wider installation including an aperiodic tiled floor, bespoke seating and a new comic book that provides further context for the Mirage series.
The tour will take place in the gallery, temporary seating provided on request. This event is free to attend, however booking is essential.
