The much-anticipated 5th edition of Classical Vauxhall enraptured audiences with a world-class line-up featuring acclaimed musicians and captivating performances.
This four-day mini-classical festival aims to showcase diverse, world-class musicians and performances across enchanting venues in Vauxhall. Adding excitement to this year’s edition was a soulful performance by China Moses on Saturday night and the renowned British actor Adjoa Andoh taking on the role of narrator for our family concert, ‘Peter and the Wolf.’
Co-founded by Vauxhall One and the festival’s Artistic Director, Fiachra Garvey, Classical Vauxhall has brought something a little bit different to the soundscape of South London each spring. Proceeds from the sale of concert tickets fund educational outreach programmes for local school children, many of whom would not usually have access to this kind of cultural experience.
In 2024, Classical Vauxhall ticket sales funded two ‘Opera Magic’ workshops for local primary schools, led by London Festival Opera, and a Junior Artists Overture Day with London Philharmonic Orchestra.
