Vauxhall One is gearing up for one of the most important events of its calendar, and businesses across the area are invited to be part of it.
On Tuesday 29 September, Vauxhall One will host the official launch party for its BID (Business Improvement District) ballot, taking place in the stunning surroundings of House of Neon at Camelford House, Albert Embankment. Floor-to-ceiling sunset views over the Thames included!
Why does this matter?
Every five years, businesses across Vauxhall get to vote on whether Vauxhall One continues its work on their behalf. It’s a moment for the whole area to have its say on the services, support and improvements that the BID levy funds, from safety and cleanliness to promotion, connectivity and everything in between.
Over the past 18 months, Vauxhall One has been listening. Businesses have told us what they need from their area and their BID and now, in response, it’s time to show you exactly what we plan to deliver over the next five years.
What to expect on the night
Guests will be among the first to hear Vauxhall One’s plans for 2027–2032, directly from the team shaping them. It’s a chance to ask questions, meet fellow local businesses, enjoy a drink with a view, and find out exactly why a YES vote keeps Vauxhall One working for the area.
Adding some sparkle to proceedings, the evening will be hosted by Ada Campe, a Vauxhall cabaret icon and one of the area’s best-loved entertainers.
Who’s invited?
Representatives from BID member businesses and local partners are all welcome. If your business is located within the BID boundary but you’re not sure if you’re eligible, please get in touch to find out. Most importantly, we will need the name of each attendee, plus each guest’s associated business, ahead of the event.
Keep an eye out
An invitation with full RSVP details will land on doorsteps and inboxes in early September. In the meantime, save the date – 29 September, 5:30-8pm – and get ready to help shape Vauxhall’s next five years.
