Vauxhall One and the Foundry/A Place for Change are bringing local charities and businesses together this September for an informal afternoon of conversations, connections and potential collaboration.
Vauxhall Community Connections will take place on Wednesday 30 September, from 12–3pm at The Foundry, 17 Oval Way, SE11 5RR.
The free, drop-in event is designed to create useful connections in every direction.
For Vauxhall-based charities, it will be a chance to meet other local organisations, share ideas, learn more about each other’s work and explore opportunities to collaborate or support one another. Charities will also be able to meet CSR managers and other business representatives from Vauxhall who are looking for local causes and partnerships to support.
For businesses, the event offers an easy way to discover more about the organisations making a difference locally. With many companies beginning to plan budgets and priorities for 2027, it is an opportunity to explore potential financial support, staff volunteering, in-kind contributions and longer-term partnerships.
Vauxhall-based charities can choose to attend simply to network or book an exhibitor place through Eventbrite. Exhibiting organisations are welcome to bring pull-up banners, leaflets and information about current projects, volunteering opportunities, funding needs and ideas for partnership.
There will also be a small number of short presentations from local organisations during the afternoon, alongside plenty of time for informal conversations.
Vauxhall One has a longstanding commitment to bringing businesses, charities and community organisations together. We support local organisations and encourage partnerships that help the wider community benefit from investment and activity in the area.
No hard sell. No lengthy presentations. Just useful conversations, new introductions and a chance to find out where working together could lead.
