Vote Now for Vauxhall One!

Vauxhall One Re-Ballot 2021
News October 5, 2021 - Daniel Adusei Vote Now for Vauxhall One!

The ballot is now open to vote for Vauxhall One, the Business Improvement District (BID) for Vauxhall.

Every 5 years, local businesses have the opportunity to vote on whether Vauxhall One continues its projects to make the area safer, cleaner, greener and to promote Vauxhall as a destination. After 2 successful terms, the BID is seeking re-election to deliver more innovative projects for Vauxhall.

The team’s projects cover Vauxhall and parts of Oval and Nine Elms, including:

  • Free summer event programme in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens (Summer Screens outdoor cinema, Bearpit Karaoke, Victorian Vauxhall and Vauxhall Variety), and Classical Vauxhall concert series
  • Green wall on South Lambeth Place and hanging baskets throughout Vauxhall
  • Murals on the railway bridge at Vauxhall Station, on Goding Street and New Spring Gardens Walk
  • Vauxhall Security team and enhanced CCTV through the area
  • Over 10,000 hours of additional cleaning in the past 5 years, including large-scale projects such as the deep clean of the Albert Embankment river wall and the removal of approximately 5,200 pieces of graffiti
  • Vauxhall, London branding and installations throughout the area, including numerous planters, seating installations and artwork
  • Place-making and promotion of local businesses on the @beinvauxhall and @vauxhallone social media channels

You can read more about our projects and our plans for the next 5 years in our Renewal Proposal 2022-2027.

Voting packs are distributed to eligible businesses on 5 October, with the deadline to submit your vote by 4 November.

If you have any questions about Vauxhall One, or want to find out more about what we can do for you, contact the team.
