On Saturday 1 August 2026, Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens will come alive with live performances, DJ sets, workshops, food markets and the energy of up to 2,000 people — all for free.
Colours & Cultures is back for its third year, and the team behind it are looking for Vauxhall businesses ready to be part of something that genuinely matters to young people in the area.
Colours & Cultures, delivered in partnership with Live + Breathe, is produced by NEON Performing Arts, a South London creative organisation that has been opening doors for young artists since 2013. Based in Vauxhall, NEON works with over 2,000 individuals a year, including 82% from the Global Majority and 85% facing social or economic disadvantage. This festival is their biggest platform: co-created by local young people, featuring 138 commissioned artists, and putting around 30 young people into paid roles on the day.
Previous editions have drawn ITV News and BBC Radio 4 coverage, a Southbank Centre showcase, and support from the Mayor of London, Arts Council England, Lambeth Council and Sport England, among others.
What’s in it for your business?
The 1 August festival is the centrepiece of a wider May–September programme that includes weekly NEON ELEVATE youth workshops throughout August, a Youth Exhibition in Vauxhall, a Southbank Centre showcase in early September, and a community after-event at House of NEON. Sponsorship gets your brand in front of audiences across the full run, not just for a single afternoon.
There’s also an official afterparty planned at House of NEON in Camelford House, extending the festival into the evening and driving footfall to local businesses. Afterparty sponsorship is available separately for those interested.
This is an opportunity for a strategic brand partnership, rather than a charity donation. Sponsorship tiers run from Bronze (£2,000–£10,000) through Silver (£10,000–£20,000) to Gold (£20,000–£30,000), with benefits scaled accordingly, from logo placement on flyers and banners to main stage naming rights, premium booth space, speaking opportunities, dedicated social media content, and features in press releases and post-event highlight reels.
Prefer to fund something specific? Targeted opportunities include the Youth Training Programme (£30,000), Festival Stage & Logistics (£10,000), Workshop Programme (£5,000) and Festival Merchandise (£3,000). Custom in-kind and multi-year arrangements are also welcome.
For businesses with CSR or ESG commitments, the alignment is direct: Colours & Cultures addresses youth employment, community cohesion, mental health, green space access and cultural equity all in one place.
Who will you reach?
The audience is genuinely mixed and multigenerational: families during the day, with young creatives and evening crowds building towards the headline programme. Free entry means the festival reflects the full social and cultural diversity of Vauxhall and Lambeth. As the organisers put it, this is not a passive crowd – these are local residents who have actively chosen a community-led cultural event, making them present, engaged and receptive to brands that show up authentically.
For local businesses, sponsoring Colours & Cultures means face-to-face access to that audience, a direct economic ripple effect across the area, and the credibility of backing a festival the neighbourhood has genuinely made its own.
